Heidi Neff Christianson Elected Vice Chair for MSBA Business Law Section

Nilan Johnson Lewis attorney and shareholder Heidi Neff Christianson was recently elected vice chair for the Minnesota State Bar Association’s (MSBA) Business Law Section, which focuses on corporate and nonprofit legislation and practice. Her term begins July 1, 2013 and ends June 30, 2014. Christianson will also remain as co-chair of the Section’s Nonprofit Corporations Committee, which reviews legal issues relating to nonprofit entities.

With over 1,100 members, the Business Law Section is one of the largest sections in the MSBA. The Section provides its members with the opportunity to influence the business community by drafting and proposing legislation and sponsoring or testifying on proposed legislation. Members also have the chance to contribute to the profession and the community through projects such as CLE presentations and providing feedback to the Minnesota Secretary of State and Department of Commerce.
