Nilan Johnson Lewis Welcomes Attorney Zachary Crain

Experienced attorney joins the firm’s business transactions/real estate practice group

Minneapolis, Minn. (June 4, 2015) – Minneapolis law firm Nilan Johnson Lewis announces that Zachary Crain has joined its business transactions/real estate practice group as special counsel. Crain brings nearly a decade of law firm and in-house experience representing corporate and individual clients in complex business and real estate transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and commercial disputes.

While at his previous firm, Crain provided legal counsel in corporate, litigation, and employment matters, including succession planning for business owners and their families. Crain also formerly served as senior corporate counsel at Taylor Corporation, and was a senior associate for Moore, Costello & Hart, PLLP, where he worked in corporate and employment law.

Crain currently is an active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association, and Minnesota Continuing Legal Education. His extensive community involvement includes time spent with the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, the Roseville Visitors Association, Guild, Inc., the City of West Saint Paul Planning Commission, Face to Face Health & Counseling Service, Public Art Saint Paul, and Saint Paul Smart Trips. Crain earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, and received a B.S. in Business Administration from Drake University.
