Privacy

Attorneys like other professionals, who advise on personal financial matters, are now required by a new Federal Law to inform their clients of their policies regarding privacy of client information. Attorneys have been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality that are even more stringent than those required by this new law. Therefore, we have always protected your right to privacy.

In the process of providing legal services to you we collect and maintain personal information that you provide to us, or that we obtain from others with your authorization. We retain records relating to your professional services so that we are better able to assist you as the need arises and, in some cases, to comply with professional guidelines. We maintain various safeguards to protect information from disclosure, including secure file maintenance areas, policies that prevent our staff from disclosing any information about our clients, and on-site shredding by a bonded commercial service of all discarded nonpublic personal information. We do not disclose any nonpublic information about you to third parties, except as otherwise required or permitted by law.

Your privacy is very important to us. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing the highest caliber of legal services to you.
