Chelsea Vilchis Joins Nilan Johnson Lewis

Minneapolis-based law firm Nilan Johnson Lewis is pleased to announce the hire of Chelsea Vilchis, who will be joining the firm’s product liability/mass tort, business litigation, and labor and employment practices. Most recently, Vilchis was a Law Clerk for the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust where she gained experience assisting with liability claims and trials. She also was part of NJL’s Summer Associate Program.

Vilchis graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2020 where she served on the executive board of the Rosalie E. Wahl Legal Association of Women students, volunteered for the Minnesota Justice Foundation in Mapping Prejudice and Court Monitoring, and was managing editor for the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. She received her B.S. in Agriculture Education—along with a teaching license—at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.

“We are excited to have Chelsea back at NJL,” said Heidi Christianson, NJL president. “In addition to her demonstrated abilities in advocacy and writing, Chelsea’s unique skills as a trained educator will be an asset to our clients.”
