Nilan Johnson Lewis Welcomes Andrew Peterson as Associate

MINNEAPOLIS (September 23, 2019) – Minneapolis law firm Nilan Johnson Lewis announces that Andrew Peterson has joined its labor and employment practice group as an associate, where he will be focusing on noncompete and trade secret litigation, class action defense, and employment law counseling. Peterson previously served as a summer law firm associate in the Twin Cities and has held multiple clerk positions, most recently with the Minnesota Court of Appeals under Judge Connolly. He brings experience researching and analyzing complex issues involving employment, contract law, and class-action lawsuits, among other areas of law.

Peterson graduated magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2018 and served as a senior editor of the law school’s Law Journal. Peterson’s undergraduate degree is from the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, N.D., where he received a Bachelor of Arts in business with a concentration in marketing and communications.

“Andrew is a high-achiever with great credentials counseling clients and getting to the root of complex legal issues,” said Heidi Christianson, Nilan Johnson Lewis president. “His talents will fit right in with our labor and employment group.”
