Nilan Johnson Lewis Welcomes Attorney Allyson Petersen

Petersen adds depth to the firm’s product liability
and commercial litigation groups

MINNEAPOLIS (November 17, 2015) – Minneapolis-based law firm Nilan Johnson Lewis announces that Allyson Petersen has joined its product liability and commercial litigation practice groups as an associate attorney. Petersen will support clients in product liability, mass tort, and commercial litigation matters.

Prior to joining Nilan Johnson Lewis, Petersen served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James A. Cunningham, Jr., Minnesota 10th Judicial District Court. As a law clerk, Petersen drafted court orders, opinions, and legal memoranda; prepared jury instructions; attended contested court hearings; conducted legal research; and managed relationships between the judge, counsel, parties, and court administration. Petersen earned her J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law and her B.A from DePaul University.

“Allyson’s fresh insights and experience make her a great addition to our product liability and commercial litigation groups, and we are thrilled to have her on board,” said Stephen Warch, president of Nilan Johnson Lewis.

Petersen is a member of the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers and the Minnesota State Bar Association, and is admitted by the State Bar of Minnesota and the State Bar of Georgia.
