MINNEAPOLIS (April 26, 2016) – Minneapolis-based law firm Nilan Johnson Lewis is pleased to announce that Carey Smith has joined its product liability group as a paralegal.

Smith brings over 15 years of corporate and product experience to the firm, having managed litigation, delivered advice, and provided administrative support for companies of all sizes, in private practice and in-house. In past roles, Smith oversaw company operations and managed filing and payroll for litigation processes. She also assisted in trial preparation, coordinated document production and discovery, maintained trademark portfolios, and managed complex cases and litigation.

Smith is a graduate of Hamline University in St. Paul, where she completed the post Baccalaureate Paralegal Program. She also received her Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement & Justice Administration from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill.
