NJL Adds New Associates To Its Litigation and Business Groups
David J. Warden and Tyler J. Adams Pushing Firm’s Head Count to 46
Nilan Johnson Lewis (NJL) is adding associate attorneys David J. Warden (DJ) and Tyler J. Adams to its litigation and business teams respectively. Warden will concentrate on product liability/mass tort and commercial litigation while Adams will focus on business and real estate transactions. Nilan Johnson Lewis has a total of 46 attorneys that now includes 12 associate attorneys.

David J. Warden
David J. Warden comes to NJL after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2012. He served as a law clerk to three firms in the Twin Cities where he performed research, drafted pleadings, motions and briefs, and worked directly with clients on a variety of legal matters from real estate to employment litigation. While in school, Warden was an active participant in the U of M Law School’s Maynard Pirsig Moot Court and served as the managing director during his final year. Through the moot court, Warden also received the prestigious Harold Will Cox Award, which is traditionally given to the student with the best oral argument. Warden is an active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Anoka County Bar Association. He holds his bar certification from the Minnesota State Courts.
Tyler J. Adams
Tyler J. Adams joins NJL from Cosentino North America, where he worked as Corporate & Real Estate Counsel, Attorney and Law Clerk. At Cosentino, he primarily focused on legal matters related to real estate, construction, and business and corporate transactions. Adams graduated magna cum laude from the William Mitchell College of Law in 2010, where he was a Mitchell Fellow and recipient of the CALI Award in the construction law category. In addition to his academic pursuits, he also participated in the Vale Corporate Law Appellate Moot Court. Adams is currently a member of the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce and the Minnesota State Bar Association. He too holds his bar certification from the Minnesota State Courts.
