NJL People: Maria P. Brekke

Maria is a litigator who handles disputes relating to contracts, shareholder and partnership issues, intellectual property, data privacy, and personal injuries. She takes the time to learn a client’s product and business in order to help clients resolve disputes in the way that makes the most sense for their business goals and priorities. She enjoys working collaboratively with clients and colleagues and prides herself on being an efficient and effective communicator.

Prior to entering private practice, Maria clerked for Justice Natalie Hudson and Justice Margaret Chutich on the Minnesota Supreme Court.

In her spare time, Maria enjoys reading, cross-country skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.
