Professional Licensing Board Defense

Our attorneys have extensive experience defending investigations and disciplinary actions initiated by professional licensing boards.  We have represented licensed professionals before the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, Minnesota Board of Nursing, Minnesota Board of Social Work, Minnesota Board of Psychology, Minnesota Board of Dentistry, and Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  Our health care regulatory knowledge and experience provides the necessary in-depth understanding of the issues facing licensed health care professionals.  We have successfully resolved many cases with no final discipline taken against the licensed professional, but when necessary, we have litigated board matters at the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings.  Several of our attorneys previously served as Assistant Attorneys General with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and one of our attorneys served in the Health Licensing Division, where she was counsel to several health licensing boards, providing a unique perspective to the defense of these matters.
