Heidi Neff Christianson Elected Chair for MSBA Business Law Section

Nilan Johnson Lewis attorney and shareholder Heidi Neff Christianson was recently elected Chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s (MSBA) Business Law Section. The Section focuses on business, professional and nonprofit corporate legislation and practice, and includes attorneys with legal practices involving banking, securities, uniform commercial code, and franchising law.

Ms. Christianson’s term began July 1, 2014 and ends June 30, 2015. Christianson’s duties as chair are to preside over the Business Law Section and Executive Council meetings. She’ll also be tasked responsible for the execution of the Section’s annual work plan and report to the full MSBA on progress.

The Business Law Section is the fourth largest section of the MSBA with 1,079 members. “For many years, the MSBA has been an essential resource for me in my practice representing nonprofit and corporate clients. I am honored to serve as Chair of the Business Law Section,” said Heidi Christianson. “I am excited for my new responsibilities.”
