NJL People: Brigid M. Kelly Prince

Supporting NJL’s Corporate and Nonprofit and Health Care practice groups, Brigid Kelly Prince helps clients manage legal and operational risk and build sound compliance practices that support their missions. Drawing on her in-house experience, she understands firsthand how legal advice plays out in day-to-day operations and delivers practical guidance on matters ranging from confidentiality and information handling to contracts, marketing practices, and policy development.

Before joining NJL, Brigid was Associate General Counsel at NMDP, a nonprofit that helps patients access lifesaving care. In this role, she advised on state and federal lobbying compliance, contracts, trademarks, interpreting laws and regulations, and the applicability of internal policies.

During law school, Brigid supported attorneys at the Housing Justice Center, served as a certified student attorney and later student director of the University of Minnesota’s Community Legal Partnership for Health Clinic, and interned with the Inner City Law Center’s Lawyers Preventing and Ending Homelessness Project.
