Meredith Rieth McBride is an accomplished labor and employment attorney with a distinguished career representing employers in complex workplace matters. Before joining NJL, she served as an attorney for the Department of the Army and the Department of the Navy, specifically as Assistant District Counsel for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ St. Paul District and as Assistant Counsel for Naval Sea Systems Command’s Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Meredith brings a proven track record of success in litigation, having defended employers in cases before federal courts and administrative bodies such as the EEOC. She has managed heavy caseloads, drafted critical pleadings, and collaborated with the Department of Justice to secure favorable outcomes. Recognized for her excellence, she received the 2024 Civilian Service Achievement Medal from the Department of the Army and a 2024 Award of Excellence from the Department of Justice.

Committed to community service, Meredith has volunteered with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Clinic while stationed overseas in Japan and provided pro bono legal support to nonprofits, including securing tax-exempt status for charitable organizations.
