Two NJL Attorneys Honored by Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

Nilan Johnson Lewis proudly announces that two of its attorneys have been recognized by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), a prestigious initiative dedicated to fostering professional development and leadership training opportunities for high-achieving attorneys from diverse backgrounds.

Daniel Supalla has been named a LCLD Fellow, joining a select cohort of mid-career attorneys poised for leadership. Through the program, he will gain valuable management skills, industry insights and connections with prominent legal leaders. Additionally, Maria Agostinho Campbell has been selected as an LCLD Pathfinder, a program designed for high-potential, early career attorneys to engage in case study discussions and build meaningful professional networks.

The LCLD is a national organization comprising more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners—the leadership of the profession—who have pledged themselves to advancing diversity in the U.S. legal profession. Through its various programs, the LCLD promotes inclusiveness across the legal industry, its spheres of influence and society at large, working toward a more equitable and diverse legal community.

About Daniel Supalla

Daniel Supalla is a member of NJL’s Business Litigation and Labor and Employment practice groups and serves as chair of the Business Litigation practice group. He advises NJL’s clients in pre-litigation disputes and represents them through the entire litigation process, including trying cases before juries and arguing appeals in state and federal courts. He received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota and his J.D., magna cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, and Minnesota Lavender Bar Association.

About Maria Agostinho Campbell

Maria Agostinho Campbell is a labor and employment lawyer with a background in human resources. Her practice focuses on litigating discrimination and harassment claims, advising employers on Title VII, ADA and disability accommodations, FMLA, labor relations, and conducting workplace investigations. Campbell earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
