Benchmark Litigation Recognizes Nilan Johnson Lewis

NJL was short-listed as a “recommended firm for labor and employment” by Benchmark Litigation, one of the most definitive and objective rankings of preeminent litigation firms and practitioners in the U.S.

Benchmark Litigation created a separate labor and employment edition in response to growing demand for a specialized study of this practice area. Its rankings consider case evidence, feedback from in-house and corporate clients as well as input from law firm partner peers. It covers a wide range of employment law issues, including but not limited to: employee discrimination/Title VII, wage and hour disputes, sexual harassment, labor relations, and unions and collective bargaining.

In addition to its firm-wide honor, the organization named NJL attorneys Joel Andersen and Tracy Van Steenburgh “Labor & Employment Stars” for being lawyers especially well-regarded by peers and possessing exceptional case records and positive client feedback. Van Steenburgh was also honored as a “Local Litigation Star” — someone consistently cited as a highly effective litigator in Minnesota by clients and peers.
