Tessa Register represents employers in workplace disputes and labor relations matters. Tessa defends employers in litigation, arbitration, and federal and state administrative proceedings involving discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, and other workplace claims. She conducts legal research, manages discovery, and drafts charge responses, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
On the labor side, Tessa supports employers in unfair labor practice charges, union organizing and decertification campaigns, strike contingency planning, and collective bargaining, including drafting contract proposals and letters of understanding. She also assists with grievance arbitration, from evaluating evidence and developing exhibits to researching and drafting post-hearing briefs. Her experience has included drafting a post-hearing arbitration brief that led to a full denial of a termination grievance.
Tessa is known for making complex legal systems clearer and more accessible for her clients. She takes the time to understand each client’s goals and helps them feel informed, understood, and supported throughout the legal process.
