Kathleen is a skilled litigator with an impressive track record of obtaining favorable results for clients in product liability, personal injury, construction litigation, professional malpractice, and insurance coverage matters. She routinely advises clients in the manufacturing, insurance, retail and construction arenas on a wide range of risk management matters including insurance coverage obligations, indemnity agreements, claims handling and extra-contractual exposure. She also serves as national coordinating counsel for select clients, spearheading work with local counsel and experts.

Comfortable in the courtroom, Kathleen is experienced in all aspects of litigation including serving as first chair defense counsel, conducting witness interviews, drafting pleadings and discovery, taking and defending fact and expert depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and representing clients in mediations and arbitrations. She has a talent for comprehending and communicating complex science, engineering, and financial topics, and possesses a clear and authentic communication style that resonates with clients and juries. As a strong strategist, she develops and frames themes that effectively communicate her client’s position.

Kathleen’s trial experience includes cases involving insurance coverage actions, insurance fraud claims, catastrophic commercial transportation and auto liability, product liability, premises liability, complex commercial disputes, and first-party coverage actions.
